About Manoj Tailoring

Founded in 1969, Manoj Tailoring Institute has grown from a small home-run class in Mumbai to a trusted and respected training institute for tailoring, cutting, and fashion-related skills. What started as a humble initiative by our founder who simply wanted to teach practical, income generating skills to the local community has now become a centre known for personalized learning, experienced teachers, and hands-on training.

Over the decades, we’ve trained thousands of students, many of whom now run their own boutiques or continue tailoring as a successful profession. Our motto, “Learn and Earn,” continues to guide everything we do.

In the late 60s and early 70s, tailoring was one of the most sought-after skills in Mumbai’s fast-growing neighbourhoods. Manoj Tailoring Institute started with just a few sewing machines and a commitment to provide affordable, practical training for both men and women.

As fashion evolved, we evolved too continuously upgrading our teaching methods, notes, and patterns. Today, our institute blends traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, offering structured courses for beginners, advanced learners, and professionals.
